It’s a rare accomplishment when a family business nears 100 years in business.
Today’s Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home celebrates an iconic legacy every day. We honor our founding by Anthony D. Lacerenza in 1926. My grandfather, Richard D. Lacerenza’s immeasurable leadership for over 65 years cannot be overstated. I have the honor to now direct this business into its fourth generation.
Both the Lacerenza and Macari families have made great contributions to the Stamford area over the years. I am proud to represent them here in our hometown and throughout Connecticut.
I believe it is important to direct Lacerenza Macari Funeral Home through the lens of tradition and our renowned reputation for trust and integrity. Yet, today’s staff and I live in a world of change, of technology, and consumer preferences. These must be among the hallmarks of Lacerenza Macari Funeral Home moving forward.
We have adapted our services to today’s needs- offering several traditional burial options - with and without services and visitations, specialized memorials, cremation options, environmental sensibilities, online arrangements, and international transports to countries of origin.
We’ve added a family lounge, a materials showroom, a new hearse, and improved handicap access. We created a clean, virus-free policy, and expanded parking options to our facility, still at the Eight Schuyler Avenue location the community knows well.
My pledge is to honor our commitments- to families that entrust us with their loved ones, to the community that is our home, and to the legacies who came before us. Thank you for your family’s continuing trust.
