It is with sadness to announce that our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister, sister-in-law and aunt, Mary Hurley, passed into God’s hands on December 20, 2023.
Mary was born in Sligo, Ireland on January 19th, 1940, the second of four children to her parents Michael & Johanna Forde. She emigrated to the United States in her late teens, while still maintaining her Irish heart. She worked for many years in the Garment Industry in Manhattan, retiring as a Credit Manager for Stuffed Shirt Inc.
In 1975 she married the love of her life, Edward Hurley, and they shared 47 years of marriage before his passing in 2022.

Devoted to her husband until the end, Mary then moved to Stamford CT last year to be closer to her son Raymond and his wife & her grandchildren.
