Adeline Santamaria

Adeline Gloria Santamaria, age 94 a resident of Shelton, Ct., formerly of Stamford, Ct. passed away peacefully at her home on August 4th 2022. Adeline was born in Stamford, Conn. on January 1st 1928. She was the daughter of the late Mary and Sabatino Monaco. She attended Stamford Public Schools and worked at Grand Central Market as a bookkeeper for over 30 years. She was a Rosarian and Red Hatter for Sacred Heart Church. Adeline is survived by daughter, Mary Robertino (Thomas Vitti), Grandson, Jack Robertino ( Jenna McCloud), and beloved Great Grandson, Jayce Robertino. She is also survived by her sisters, Divina Buchetto and Vincenza Siciliano. Adeline is predeceased by her husband, Virgilio Santamaria, daughters, Linda Orrica and Sally Santamaria (Anthony DellaPietro) and brother, Reynaldo Monaco. Funeral Services will be held at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, Ct. 06902 on August 9th from 9 to 11, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave. in Stamford, Ct. 06902 at 11:30.
