Alan Richard Jackson

Alan Richard Jackson, 76, of Stamford, CT, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Born on April 23, 1948, in Stamford, he was the son of Marion and Charles Jackson. He grew up on the West Side of Stamford, where he lived his entire life.

Alan attended Stephens School, Cloonan School, and graduated from Rippowam High School in 1966. Early in his career, he worked at Clairol and had a Pepperidge Farm bread route. He later joined Connecticut Transit, where he spent many years as a bus driver before becoming a transportation supervisor, a role from which he retired.

Throughout his life, Alan had a passion for cars — particularly Mustangs, Jeeps, and his Corvette. However, his greatest love was always his family. He especially cherished the time spent with his grandchildren who brought him great joy.

Alan is predeceased by his mother, Marion Jackson. He is survived by his father, Charles Jackson of Stamford; his sister, Carol Bogacz (Mark); his daughters, Shelby Jackson and Stephanie Lucia (RJ); his grandchildren, TJ Schlotter, Rocco Lucia, Jackson Schlotter, Valentina Lucia, and Dominick Lucia; nieces, nephews, as well as numerous cousins .

A service will be held in his honor at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT on January 25, 2025 at 11:00 am. Alan lived life comfortably for anyone attending, please feel free to wear jeans and a t-shirt.
