Angela Chila

Angela (Possidento) Chila died peacefully at home on August 16, 2021. Born in Stamford on March 21, 1945, the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude Possidento. She is survived by her children Lori Keegan (Tom) of Norwalk and Richard Chila (Jenn) of Ephrata, PA, 5 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many cousins in Stamford. She is predeceased by her maternal grandparents Nicholas and Carmela Summa, paternal grandparents Donato and Angelina Possidento, and brother Joseph Possidento Jr. Angela attended Stamford Public Schools and graduated from Stamford High School in 1963. She was an avid New York Jet’s fan and volunteered for the Democratic National Committee. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
