Antonio Cosmo Sandalo, known to his friends and family as Anthony, passed away at home on November 24, 2024, at the age of 47. He was born on April 7, 1977, to the late Anthony P. Sandalo and Marcena Simpson Sandalo.

A proud graduate of Rippowam High School in 1994, Anthony went on to establish and successfully operate Sandalo Mechanical for 19 years, earning the respect and admiration of all who worked with him. A gifted musician and artist, Anthony's talents were only outshined by his deep passion for motorcycles and motocross. He dedicated much of his life to traveling across the country with his sons, who competed in motocross events.

Anthony's presence was larger than life. His infectious smile could light up any room, and his quick wit and storytelling made him the life of any gathering. He had a generous spirit, always ready to lend a hand to a friend in need, and above all, he treasured his family. His wife, Nicole Samela Sandalo, and their two sons, Antonio Nicholas, and Luca Michael, were his world, and his love for them was immeasurable.

In addition to his wife and children, Anthony is survived by his sister, Lisa Sandalo; his brother, Paul Sandalo and wife; and his mother, Marcena Sandalo, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Anthony P. Sandalo.

Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Wednesday, December 4, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 5th at 10:30 AM, Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will immediately follow at Fairfield Memorial Cemetery, 230 Oaklawn Avenue, Stamford, CT.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to support the future education of Anthony's beloved children.

As Thomas Campbell once said, "To live in the hearts we leave behind is not to die." Anthony's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

"The song is ended, but the melody lingers on." - Irving Berlin
