Antonio Vartuli, 91, a Stamford resident passed away on Wednesday, September 19, 2018. He was born in Arena, Italy on June 28, 1927, the son of the late Pasquale and Stella Vartuli. He is survived by his beloved wife, Caterina Giamba Vartuli; his loving children Pat Vartuli and Estelle Dattolo, his grandchildren Bryan, Adrian, Kenneth, Matthew, and Christian, his sister Teresa, and his brother Domenico. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, September 22 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. at St. Cecilia’s Church, 1184 Newfield Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Norwalk.
