Barbara Larussell

Barbara Buzzeo LaRussell formerly of Port Chester & Rye, New York and Southbury, CT passed away peacefully on November 3, 2024. She was 88.

Barbara was the youngest of 6 children born to Donato and Alfonsina Buzzeo.

Barbara was a model in her younger years then worked at the Marilyn Shop, Towne Shop and Rye Beach Pharmacy before retiring to Southbury, CT.

Everyone who knew Barbara knew her to be a loving caregiver to anyone who needed help.

She is predeceased by her husband Paul LaRussell, who she spent her last years with at Maplewood Assisted Living in Norwalk, CT.

She is also predeceased by her parents and her sisters, Filomena DiStasio, Mary Passero and brothers Anthony Buzzeo, John Buzzeo and Louis Buzzeo.

Barbara is survived by and loved by many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews from New York, Connecticut, Colorado, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia and Arizona.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, November 9 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, 260 Westchester Avenue, Port Chester, NY followed by entombment at Greenwood Union Cemetery, North Street, Rye, NY
