Beatrice Sapia

Beatrice Bongiorno Sapia (Bea Bea) died at the age of 94, she passed away peacefully on May 10 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Beatrice was born April 29, 1928 in Stamford Ct. To the late John and Rose Borchetta Bongiorno.She attended and graduated from Stamford High School in 1946. Beatrice lived at home and worked at her father’s business The Stillwater Bakery in Stamford, upon her marriage to Samuel Sapia. She then worked with her husband in his business, Pickwick Stationary Diner. Years later went on to work for her two brothers John and George, Bongiorno's Super Market, Beatrice is survived by her two boy’s Ronald and Peter Sapia, daughter in law June Sapia and Grand Daughter Taylor Sapia. She is also survived by brother-in-law Dominick Sapia and sister-in-law Marie Bongiorno, two cousins Antoninette Sapia and Gloria Sciarretta and many nieces and nephews. Beatrice is predeceased by her husband Samuel Sapia her brother`s Frank John George Bongiorno and sister Marie Berry. The Sapia family would also like to say thank you to Waveny’s Health care aides, nurses, doctors and staff members and patty at concierge’s desk!! Special thanks to Lyn Iverson, Rachel Hepner and Kate Bacon A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 19, 2022 Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford.
