Carmine Sena

Carmine Sena, a Stamford resident, passed away peacefully on March 9, 2022 at the age of 92. Born in Luzzi, Province of Cosenza, Italy on November 9, 1929, he was the son of the late Saverio and Filomena Sena. Carmine worked for the Stamford Housing Authority for many years and was an avid gardener. Carmine is survived by his two beloved daughters, Elena Perez (Roberto), Francesca Sena, his two loving grandchildren, Roberto Perez Jr., and Peter Perez, his brothers-in-law, Mario Smeriglio, Louis Smeriglio and sister-in-law, Yolanda Smeriglio. He is predeceased by his wife Ida (Smeriglio) Sena, sisters, Angelina and Maria, brothers Francesco, Salvatore, Giuseppe, and Eugenio. Calling hours will be Monday, March 14, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A graveside service will take place at 11:30 a.m. at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT.
