Catherine Ann Lorenti

Catherine “Katie” Ann Dellaventura Lorenti, 97, of Milford and formerly of Stamford, entered eternal rest on September 4, 2021. Catherine was born on January 5, 1924, in Stamford, Connecticut, one of the eleven children of the late Anthony and Rose Dellaventura. Known as Katie by all, she was the widow of John Lorenti. She is survived by her sister Mary Wasik of Greenwich; her loving children Diane Dellalo of Norwalk, Gail Darrow of Milford, Donna Lorenti of Trumbull, and Joseph Lorenti of Florida; and her many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She will be remembered as a loving, dedicated mother and grandmother who was the center of her families’ lives. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. Viewing hours will be held at Lacerenza Funeral Home in Stamford, CT on Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 10:00AM—11:00AM, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church in Stamford, CT at 11:30AM. Internment Services will immediately follow at St. John’s Cemetery in Darien, CT.
