She graduated from Philippine Normal College and pursued the profession of teaching as an elementary school teacher. In 1967, she emigrated to the United States. Eventually she settled in Greenwich, Connecticut with a home in Riverside. She married Guntis Drupals, and together they raised three sons. Concepcion was devoted to her faith and religion, and she worshipped regularly at St. Catherine of Siena and St. Clement of Rome churches. Surrounded by her family and friends and trusting that it was God’s Will, Concepcion passed away on July 6th, 2022.
