Conio Francis Stolfi, Jr., 65, a lifelong resident of Cos Cob, CT, passed away peacefully on

Saturday, April 15th at his home.

Conio was born on August 26th, 1957 at Greenwich Hospital, the son of the late Conio Francis

Stolfi, Sr. and Lillian B. Stolfi. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1975.

Conio was a devoted husband and father who will be deeply missed by his wife of 37 years,

Maria, daughter Marissa (Adam), eldest son Michael (Delphine), youngest son Matthew, sister

Elizabeth Nickerson (Bill), sister-in-law Joan Stolfi, sister-in-law Anita Michael (Steven), and

brothers-in-law Anthony and Vincent Chambery. He is also survived by his beloved nieces,

nephews, cousins, godchildren, and many cherished friends.

Conio was a caring and generous man who above all else loved spending time with his family

and friends. He was an avid golfer, gardener, boater, and talented chef who enjoyed cooking up

a storm, especially his signature homemade pizza. He played both the guitar and the drums,

and his passion for music lives on through his children. A hands-on Dad from the moment his

children were born, he loved participating in all their events up until the day he died. He

impacted the Greenwich community as an active volunteer and dedicated youth coach. Conio

was always the first to help others and made friends everywhere he went.

During Conio’s 43 year career as an Operational Engineer and member of the Local 30

Engineers Union, he was employed by several top engineering management firms with

responsibility for corporate facilities such as Champion International, RBS/Greenwich Capital,

and, most recently, JP Morgan Chase’s private hangar at Westchester County Airport.

Throughout his career, Conio developed numerous lifelong friendships which he treasured each

day.

Conio was predeceased by his parents, Conio Francis Stolfi, Sr. and Lillian B. Stolfi, and his

older brother, Frank “Zippy” Stolfi.
