Cynthia L. Wilt AKA Mamma AKA Nana a resident of Stamford, CT passed away on November 28, 2023, at her home.

Cindy was born on August 19, 1950, in Braddock, Pennsylvania.

Cindy worked as a driver/dispatcher for United Site Services for over 25 years. Cindy also worked for Catholic Charities as a driver delivering meals during covid. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Cindy was also a huge advocate for special needs children and autism. She believed they should be protected at all costs.

Cindy is survived by her daughter Michelle Stroud, grandson Jacob Stroud, niece Kimberly Rodriguz, nephew Carter Wilt and sister-in-law Linda Wilt.

Cindy is predeceased by her husband Robert Stroud and her brother Ronald Wilt.

Cynthia was the person who turned lemons into lemonade, a person who really had a big heart and touched everyone who came past her. Her abrasiveness was her armor that she wore every day to protect the people she cared about from the unforgiving world. She was one hard working woman doing many things a lot of people wouldn’t. She worked for the telephone company in the 80’s climbing poles and running lines along with paving parts of I-95 while working construction. She was very humble and always fought for the little guy. She will be missed dearly, and the world will always be a better place because she was here because I know we her family are.

Thank you, Cynthia Wilt, for your unwavering duty to your family.

Cindy will be cremated and brought home with her family. There will be a memorial service soon and family and friends will be notified.

The Wilt/Stroud family wants to thank everyone for their kind words.
