Darren Joseph Galazin Sr. (51), of Stamford, CT, passed away on June 20th, 2018 in Stamford, CT. Darren was born in Stamford, CT to Joseph Galazin and Carmel Galazin on February 5th, 1967. He graduated Wright Tech Vocational High School in Stamford, CT. He worked as a Clerk for United States Postal Service for 30 years. Darren was the American Postal Workers Union President for 6 years. Darren is survived by his son’s Tyler Galazin, Darren Galazin Jr, and Daughter-in-law Kelley Galazin, his siblings Jodi Galazin-Karagianes, Joseph Galazin Jr and Robyn Galazin, his mother Carmel Galazin, his grand-daughter Haven Grace Galazin and his former wife Mary Hill Pia. Calling hours will be held on Monday June 25, 2018 at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford from 9:00am-11:30am, with a prayer service to follow at 11:30am.
