Dolores Vaccaro

Dolores (Dee Caldwell) Vaccaro entered eternal rest peacefully on May 19, 2021 with her loving family at her bedside. She was a lifelong parishioner of Sacred Heart Church and Stamford. She was a graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1944. She was a full-time homemaker since her retirement in 1995. Her family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her loving husband Michael for 72 years, 2 sons, Michael and his partner Debbie of Pennsylvania, Kenneth and wife Sherry of Connecticut, and daughter-in-law Nancy of Michigan. She was predeceased by her son Tom. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren Christopher his wife Andrea, Allyson and her husband Andrew, Brent and Laura and 2 great grandchildren Leia and Eli. Friends may call at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien, CT. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made at Sacred Heart Church or one of your favorite charities.
