Edmour Wilfred Guilmette III, also known by his famous Nick names: Ed, Eddie, Big Ed, Hollywood, Cakers, House,non-stop, Bazone, and Ferris wheel king. Ed was 53 years old and a resident of Stamford Connecticut. He passed away on January 28, 2022, at the Stamford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Ed was born on August 8,1968 in Bridgeport, CT. He was the son of Edmour Wilfred Guilmette II and Jean Wittkoske. He graduated from Johnathan Law high school. He worked for the Connecticut labor union for over 20 years and Storti’s construction for 6 years as a qualified joiner in natural gas pipelines/inspector. Ed mostly enjoyed going to Ocean City NJ where he spent every summer with his family. He loved going to the beach, participating in family actives, and eating at his favorite restaurants “Clancy’s by the sea” and “Three Brothers” where he won a pizza eating contest! Ed loved all things Steelers; he was a die-hard fan and playing with his dog Lucky, but most importantly, he loved being with his family and friends. Ed was the most creative person; he could make anything out of nothing. Ed worked for Stewart amusement for years every summer. If you ever went to a local fair, you knew where to find him, at the ferris wheel. He loved spending his summer nights there and everyone loved having him around. Ed is survived by his loving wife Carla, his daughters Christina, Jessica, and Alyssa, his sisters Kathy and Beverly, his brother Al, and his mother Gene and husband Al. Ed will also be missed by his in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Ed is predeceased by his father Edmour Wilfred Guilmette the II, grandparents Edmour Wilfred Guilmette I and Virginia, and his father-in-law Domenico Gentile. Wake services will be held on Wednesday Feb 2,2022 at Lacerenza Funeral home 8 Schuyler Avenue in Stamford, CT from 5-8 PM.
