Elizabeth (Betty) C. Plank DeMaio 71, passed away on September 16, 2017. Born in Stamford, CT on December 7,1945 to the late Wilbur and Mary Ellen Burke Plank. She was predeceased by her husband John L. DeMaio Sr. Betty is survived by her loving children Mary Ellen DeMaio, and John L. DeMaio Jr. Calling hours will be held on Thursday September 21, 2017 at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Ave in Stamford from 9:00am-11:00am with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 11:30am at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave in Stamford. Entombment to follow at St. Johns Cemetery in Darien. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made in Betty’s name to Stamford Firefighters Burn Foundation 629 Main Street Stamford, CT 06901.
