Geraldine Cash

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Geraldine Cash, who left this world on February 25, 2025, at the age of 85. A lifelong resident of Stamford, she was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend, whose kindness and warmth touched the lives of many.

Born on September 25, 1939, Geraldine was the beloved daughter of Angelina and Vincent Metallo. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Cash, and her brother, Vincent Metallo.

Geraldine is survived by her devoted son, Steven Cash, and his wife, Christina Cash, of Stamford. She was a cherished grandmother to Angelina Mignarri and her husband, Michael, as well as to her grandson, Jason Cash. Her family was her greatest joy, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

After retiring from Pitney Bowes, Geraldine embraced her passions for traveling and rug hooking, finding beauty and creativity in both. She had an adventurous spirit and an artist's heart, always eager to explore new places and craft something meaningful with her hands.

Geraldine's kindness, laughter, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her.

Per her wishes, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her honor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Disease Research at www.michaeljfox.org.
