Giovanni G. Mossa

Giovanni Gaetano Mossa, 96, a Stamford resident passed away on October 15, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 7, 1922 in Gaeta, Italy, to the late Umberto and Vincenza Parente Mossa. Giovanni worked as a machinist at Capital Records for several years. His love for his family brought joy to his life. He is survived by his wife Emilia Sisto Mossa; his three sons Albert Mossa and wife Eileen, Rudy Mossa and wife Jane, John Mossa and wife Maria; nine grandchildren and one great grandchild. In addition to his parents, Giovanni is predeceased by his brother Joseph Mossa. Calling hours will be held on Thursday, 10/18 from 4-8pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, October 19 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Maurice Church, 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery, Darien, CT.
