Grace Pimpinella

Grace Pimpinella, age 88 passed away peacefully on November 28,2022 at the Stamford Hospital. Grace was born on December 23, 1933, in Calabria Italy to the late Lorenzo and Rosaria Iuele.
She loved her family very much and especially loved cooking for them. She was also a great baker and was known for her “Nonna’s Cookies” and her famous cream puffs.
Grace is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Antonio, her devoted daughters Rosamaria DiPreta (Domenico), Lisa Comunale (Pat), and Karen Uva (Tony). Her cherished grandchildren; Amanda (Maciej), Nicola (Erica), Alexa (Ted), Sabrina, Michael, and her great grandchildren; Luke, Evan, Stella, and Ted Joseph. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Besides her parents, Grace is predeceased by her first husband Frank Denicola, her sisters; Carmela Orrico, Angelina Piro, and Rosina Chiappetta, and her beloved grandson Joseph Comunale.
Calling hours will be held on Friday December 2, 2022, from 4pm-8pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday December 3, 2022, at 10am at St. Leo Parish 24 Roxbury Rd, Stamford, CT. Entombment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Greenwich.
