Kathleen Simonsen Ross 70, longtime resident of Stamford, CT passed away Friday December 30th 2022 at Stamford Hospital.
Kathleen was born on September 4th, 1952 the daughter of the late John Lake Sr. and Mary Forte. She graduated from Rippowam High school in 1970.Kathleen worked at interstate lumber as a secretary for 8 years.
She loved animals from wildlife to her own. She enjoyed being a mother to everyone she met. She was loved by more people than she realized.
Kathleen is survived by her husband Gary S. Ross, her daughter Jennifer Zapata and her husband Ramon Zapata and one granddaughter Mackenzie Zapata. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews as well as cousins and friends.
Kathleen is predeceased by her sister Shirley Lake, her brother John Lake Jr. and wife Doreen Lake and her loving son John Simonsen and several aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday January 4th 2023 from 9 AM to 11Am at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Ave. Stamford, CT 06902 . A Funeral procession will follow to St. John's Cemetery Darien, CT.
