Linda Lafortune

On Thursday, Nov 10, Linda LaFortune, a beloved mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away. She fought so hard for 5 months to be able to come back to her family but after suffering a catastrophic heart attack in June and 5 subsequent strokes she can finally rest. She was sixty-four. Born to Michael & Norma Boyle on December 19, 1957 in Stamford Connecticut. She is predeceased by her loving father Michael and husband of 36 years Steven. She is survived by her daughter Kelly Vagueiro (Husband Kevin), grandson Michael, her mother Norma Boyle, her sisters Marlene Boyle and Maureen Meehan. Also survived by her nieces Lisa Guerrero (Husband Dasher, Olivia and Jackson) and Kristen Comeau (Husband Max, Luka), many other loved ones and friends.

Linda loved traveling to new places, going out to eat with her husband, going to the casino with her sisters and playing with her great nieces and nephews. She loved her family more than anything. She was a mother who would do anything for her daughter, a grandmother who loved her grandson deeply, a sister you could always lean on and a friend who was always there. She will be remembered as a person who you could always count on for a good laugh, huge smile, words of encouragement and just general warmth. She will be missed beyond measure but never forgotten.
