Luciana Macari

Luciana Macari, of Middlebury, CT passed away on January 25, 2025. She was 77 years young.

Luciana was born in Rome, Italy on December 15, 1947 to Enrico Marsili and Maria Rosa Pompa. She moved to Stamford, CT in 1967 and resided there for 29 years. She also lived in San Diego, CA, and Danbury, CT.

Luciana had a passion for travel. Her adventures included Europe, New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, and Egypt.

Her favorite memories included holidays and parties with her loved ones.

Luciana is survived by her son, Daniel and his wife Kristen of Poway, California, her daughter Lisa Magee of Middlebury, Connecticut, and her four grandchildren: Hallie Magee, Ryan Magee, Luke Macari, and Dylan Macari. She is also survived by her sister in law Lella Marsili of Rome, Italy, her former spouse John Macari of Stamford, CT, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Piero in November 2024.

There will be a mass at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford on Saturday, February 8th at 10:30 a.m.
