Lucy C. Caruso, 98, passed away on October 17, 1922, in Bethel, Ct with her daughter by her side. A lifelong resident of Stamford, she was born November 30,1923. She was a graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1941. In 1944 she married Anthony (Tony) Caruso, and they were together for 67 years until his death in 2012. Lucy worked at Pitney Bowes until her retirement in 1989. Upon retirement, she enjoyed golfing, swimming and travel with Tony and the Pitney Bowes Senior Group. Lucy loved visiting the casinos with friends especially when she had a good day. She also was a fabulous baker especially her famous Christmas cookies baked and given with love to family and friends. In recent years, her enjoyment came from spending time with her family in Turks & Caicos and California.

Lucy was predeceased by her parents Antonio and Philomena Carella Buzzeo, husband Tony, brother Louis Buzzeo, sisters, Clementina Buzzeo and Mary Antonelli, sisters-in- law Sylvia Buzzeo, Dolores Buzzeo, Jill Buzzeo and brother-in-law Guy Antonelli and her beloved niece Marie Storrs.

Lucy is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Boccuzzi (Mark) of Bridgewater, Ct., beloved grandchildren Beth Jonsson (Magnus) of Orinda, CA, and Mark R. Boccuzzi (Maureen) of Foxboro, MA and her cherished great-grandchildren Ava and Mila Jonsson and Luci, Nicholas and Jax Boccuzzi.

Lucy is also survived by her brother Michael Buzzeo of Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, many nieces, and nephews whom she adored.

A very special thank you to the entire staff at Maplewood Senior Living and Regional Hospice for their loving and considerate care of Lucy.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Lucy’s name to Regional Hospice, 30 Milestone Road, Danbury, CT 06810.

There are no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT on Tuesday October 25,2022 at 10:30am, burial will follow at Fairfield Memorial Park Cemetery in Stamford. To leave an online condolence please visit www.lacerenzafh.com
