Margherita Decostanzo

Margherita DeCostanzo, 85, of Stamford, CT passed away peacefully on November 23rd, 2022. Margherita was born on June 8th 1937 in Serrara Fontana d’Ischia, Italy, to the late Cristoforo and Maddalena DiMeglio.
Margherita is survived by her son Frank DeCostanzo and spouse Maria Grace DeCostanzo, and her daughter Maria DeCostanzo Crossland and spouse Alex Crossland. She is also survived by her grandchildren Alessandra DeCostanzo Becker, her spouse Adam Becker, and Daniela DeCostanzo.
Margherita loved her family and friends; she lived life to its fullest and brought joy to those around her. She was a parishioner of the Sacred Heart Roman Catholic church and a member of the choir there for 17 years.
Margherita is predeceased by her loving husband of 33 years, Anthony DeCostanzo. She is also predeceased by her siblings Filomena Grasso of Napoli, Giovanni DiMeglio of Ischia, Maria DiMeglio of Ischia, Assunta DiMeglio of Ischia, Antonio DiMeglio of Ischia, and Anna Buono of Ischia.
Family and friends may call at the Lacerenza Funeral Home, Stamford, CT on Monday, November 28th from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Mass on Tuesday November 29th at 10:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Church, Stamford, CT. An Entombment will follow at St. John’s Mausoleum, Darien, CT.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margherita DeCostanzo’s memory to the Sacred Heart Church, Stamford CT.
