Mary Carmella Boccuzzi

Mary Carmella Boccuzzi, a lifelong Stamford resident passed away peacefully at her home on February 20,2021. She was 94 years old. Born on March 31, 1926, the daughter of the late Jack and Susan (Catino) Boccuzzi . Mary was a graduate of Stamford High School Class of 1944. She was employed at C.O. Miller and retired from Lord & Taylors, having worked there for 25 years. She was a devoted member of the Sacred Heart Church Choir for 68 years. Mary is survived by her brother, Nick “Bing” Boccuzzi, her sister, Vera Zurkowski, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Anne Gospodinoff, Ida Fiordelisi, Grace Boccuzzi and brothers-in-laws Jerry Fiordelisi, Henry Zurkowski and Steve Gospodinoff. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, February 25,2021 at 11:00am at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Darien.
