Mary L Gunn was born in Aberdeen MS to the late Alice L Johnson. She moved to Stamford Connecticut 62 years ago .She was employed at Clairol until she retired. She was affectionally known around the neighborhood as Ms. Mary She loved sitting outside and walking around the Southend
She leaves to cherish her one and only daughter Dora (Gunn)Hickey (Sherry Garner) Granddaughter Lenesha J Hickey (Billy Taylor) Grandson Jacari P Hickey (Shyniqua McClintock) Great-Grandson Damar Taylor and other relatives and friends.
This was no ordinary life
This was a life well-lived and well-loved
A life that will be deeply missed
The Lord is my shepherd I shall not want
He makes me lie down in green pastures
He leads me beside still waters he restores my soul
He leads me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I fear no evil for though art with me
Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me
Thou preparest a table before me in presence of my enemies though anointest my head with oil
my cup overflows
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
