Mary Moccia
August 3, 1927 — December 17, 2022
Mary Moccia 95, passed away peacefully at the Stamford Hospital on December 17, 2022. Mary was born on August 3, 1927, to the late Vito and Mary (Vigilione) Montanaro.
Mary is survived by her three children; Tom Moccia of Norwalk, Benny Moccia of Stamford, and Alan Moccia of Norwalk, one grandson; Tommy Moccia of Minnesota. She is also survived by two sisters: Jean Arena of Naugatuck, and Eleanor Kaldon of Georgia. Also, many nieces and nephews also survive.
Besides her parents, Mary is predeceased by her beloved husband Thomas Moccia.
Mary was an avid bowler and one of her favorite things to do was to cook for her family and friends.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday December 22, 2022, from 4:00pm-8:00pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Burial will be private.
