Noemi Cardillo

Noemi R. CARDILLO age 89, a Stamford resident passed away on September 10, 2022, at Stamford Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born on June 7, 1933, in Comune Di Crema, Italy, the son of the late Giuseppe Riboli and Adeline Rey. She is survived by her beloved children Antonio Cardillo, Rossano Cardillo, Joanna Cardillo Fasano, Mario J. Cardillo, John Cardillo, Nicholas Cardillo, and Michael A. Cardillo. She also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Cardillo was a Homemaker. She was a devoted Mother and Grandmother who loved her children and an active member of Sacred Heart Church. She was a supportive Mother and Wife who was known as "Mama or Mommy" by her children. She always stressed do not let life get to you mentally and to stay strong moving forward in life and she always told her children to always show class to others and always have class in life yourself. She had one of her model sayings when she would attend events with our father “It’s better to look good then feel good”. The ultimate description of our Mommy was she had beautiful inner strength that propelled her throughout her life.

She loved the Arch Angel St. Michael and the Virgin Mary. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford. Entombment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, Greenwich, Ct.
