Peter J Sorbo Jr

Peter “Pete” J. Sorbo Jr., 84, a former resident of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away on January 8th, 2025 in Sarasota, Florida.

Peter was born on October 4th, 1940 in Stamford, CT, the son of the late Peter Sorbo Sr. and Isabel DeDonato. Peter is survived by his two children: Lisa and her husband Frank, and Peter and his wife Michelle, his brother Terry Paton and his wife Janine, and his four grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. Peter is predeceased by his beloved wife, Carol Sorbo, and sister Janet Sorbo.

Peter attended technical college for mechanical engineering, and was a pioneer in holographics and security printing. He began his career at Bunker Ramo Corporation as an electronics technician. Then, he worked as Vice President of Engineering at ABN Holographics, founded Dimensional Technologies, and lastly served as President of Label Systems. Peter enjoyed coaching Little League baseball for his son. He loved motorcycles, muscle cars, and the Yankees, as well travelling and spending time with his family.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, January 20th from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made directly to his favorite foundation, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
