Rose Marie Springer, age 94, of Stamford, CT, passed away on November 26, 2023.
Rose was born April 13, 1929, in Stamford, CT. She was the daughter of the late Angelo and Domenica (Caputo) Cotellessa of Stamford, CT. Rose was the wife of the late Joseph “Mickey” Springer.
Rose and Mickey loved travelling. Rose enjoyed painting as a hobby. Also predeceasing Rose: Her son, Charles Springer; her brother Nick Cotellessa, Sr. of Norwalk, CT; her sister Mary Terico of Stamford, CT; and her sister Josephine Parte of Hawthorne, NY.
Rose is survived by her son Joseph Springer (Stacey) of Hamburg, NJ; her sister Anna Valentine of Wilton, CT; her sister Angie Vaiuso (Dominick) of Sandy Hook, CT; two grandsons, Joseph and Corey Springer of Austin, TX, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, November 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home in Stamford, CT. Burial will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery in Darien, CT.
