Sally Marie Eberhardt of Stamford, Connecticut, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2024 at her home in Stamford.
Sally was born on April 6, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, daughter of the late Raymond O’Brien and Mary Wildey O’Brien. She graduated from Bradley University with a Masters in Psychology.
Sally was a Psychotherapist with a private practice for almost 50 years. She was dedicated to her clients, helping them navigate life’s difficult parts with insight, perspective and understanding. She was blessed with the ability to access a kind of sensible wisdom few of us share, then communicate it with clarity and compassion. She was totally committed to that work and the understanding of human relationships.
Sally is survived by her husband, Richard Chiaramonte, her daughter and son in law, Erin Eberhardt and Eric DiMartino, her brothers, Tom and Jim O’Brien and her grandsons Austin and Michael DiMartino. Sally’s love for her family knew no bounds.
As a young woman, Sally was interested in an acting career, appearing in several local amateur productions. She loved the theater. In lieu of flowers, she asked that donations be made to Goodspeed Musicals at 860-615-0368.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Waveny Home Health Care for their consistent kindness and dedication.
