Salvatore A. Cornelio, 87, a resident of Tarpons Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2023 surrounded by family.
Salvatore was born on March 27th, 1936 in Riverside, CT, the son of Patrick and Nicoletta Cornelio. Sal worked as a manager for Grade A Market for many years. He is survived by his daughter Lisa (Vincent), two sons Joseph (Lauren) and David (Elizabeth), two grandsons Dean and Anthony. He is also survived by a sister Patricia, and two brothers Ronald (Lorie) and Richard (Susan).
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, May 13th, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. at Lacerenza Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery, 124 Rock Rimmon Road, Stamford, CT.
