Steven M Lafortune

On Tuesday, Oct 12, Steven LaFortune, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly from brain injuries. He was seventy-two. Born to Maurice & Norma LaFortune on July 19, 1950 in Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife Linda of 36 years, daughter Kelly Vagueiro (Husband Kevin), son Wayne Tonning (Wife Lisa), grandchildren Michael, George, Hailey, Skylar & Thomas, his sister Patricia Drier (husband Eric) as well as many nieces, nephews, other loved ones and friends.

Steve loved nothing more than traveling the world with his family and making once in a lifetime memories with them. He will be remembered as a man who always had a joke or a story for any situation. He had a life full of travel, music, books and delicious food. He will be missed by so many but never forgotten.

Viewing hours will be held Monday Oct 17th from 5pm-8pm at Lacerenza Funeral Home. 8 Schuyler Avenue, Stamford CT 06902.

Funeral will be held at St. Maurice Catholic Church on Tuesday Oct 18th at 10am. 358 Glenbrook Road, Stamford CT 06906. Burial to follow at Queen of Peace Cemetery.
