It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Thomas Pensiero on April 23, 2025. He was born in Santa Maria Infante, Italy on July 8, 1937 and was a survivor of World War II.

Thomas was the loving husband of Maria Pensiero for 65 years, a true love story. He came to the US in 1956 and was a proud American. Thomas worked at Clairol as a supervisor and mechanic engineer for 30 years retiring in 1993.

Thomas had a passion for his garden, making homemade wine and spending time with his family. He was a member of the Minturnese Social club for many years. He was an honorable man and was loved by many.

He is survived by his children Angela Pensiero, Henry Pensiero (Antoniette), Joseph Pensiero (Allison), his 6 grandchildren, Daniela (Jason) Alexander, Thomas (Ari), Jaclyn (Patrik), Emma and Joseph and also his 4 great grandchildren JJ, Siena, Roman, and Lacey Maria and his nephew, Angelo Sestito (Laura).

He was pre-deceased by his parents, Angelina (Masone) and Enrico Pensiero of Italy and his sister, Concetta Sestito, and his nephew Larry Sestito.

Calling hours will be on Monday, April 28, 2025 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Lacerenza Macari Family Funeral Home, 8 Schuyler Ave, Stamford, CT and the mass will be at 11:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, 37 Schuyler Ave., Stamford, CT. Burial will immediately follow at St. John Cemetery, 25 Camp Ave, Darien CT.
