Lacerenza Family Announces Succession Plan

July 28, 2017. Stamford, CT. Angela Lacerenza, matriarch of long-standing Stamford, CT funeral home, Lacerenza Funeral Home on Eight Schuyler Avenue, is proud to announce that Jerry Macari, Jr has succeeded her late husband and longtime area funeral director Richard D. Lacerenza, as President and Senior Funeral Director for Lacerenza Funeral Home.

Jerry, grandson of Richard and Angela “Chickie” Lacerenza, is the fourth generation of his family to serve the Stamford community in the funeral services industry. Jerry is the son of Toni Lacerenza Macari and Jerry Macari, Sr, themselves veterans of the funeral industry in Stamford.

Jerry will continue the operations of Lacerenza Funeral Home from the establishment’s longstanding facility downtown at Eight Schuyler Avenue, just blocks from the downtown University of Connecticut campus and Mill River Park. “Lacerenza’s” will continue to offer its local area clientele with Funeral Pre-Need Planning, Traditional Funerals, Customized Memorials, Cremation Services and Domestic and International Transport to all states in America, Europe, the Caribbean, Central and South America.
